Amrita Sher-Gil Cultural Centre

A Nemzetközi Gyermekmentő Szolgálat 1990 óta szervezi Budapest Főváros Önkormányzatával közösen a Városligeti Gyermeknapot. A szervezők számára a kezdetektől fontos volt, hogy ezzel a rendezvénnyel több százezer hátrányos helyzetű gyermek és családja számára nyújtsanak színvonalas, kulturált, ingyenes programot, akiknek erre másképp nem lenne lehetőségük.
Az Indiai Nagykövetség idén is részt vesz a programon. Az indiai sátrat a Nemzetek Utcája forgatagában találják majd, 2017. május 27-én, vasárnap, 10-16 óra között. A programon számos nagykövetség, kulturális intézet mutatja be országa hagyományait, kulturális és gasztronómiai sajátosságait, szokásait. A Nagykövetségek Színpadán indiai fellépők is lesznek, Ms Saumya Shukla tanítványai táncolni fognak és Pandit Rajesh Gangani is fellép tanítványaival.

A gyerekeket nemcsak tánccal, jógával, zenével, arcfestéssel és kézműves foglalkozással várjuk, hanem társasjátékozhatnak, színezhetnek, festhetnek is az India Sátorban, és hennával díszíthetik kezüket. Idén is lesz kvízjáték, illetve rajzverseny, és a legjobb alkotásokat díjazzuk.

The International Children’s Safety Service and the Municipality are organizing the Children’s Day in Budapest City Park since 1990. From the beginning, it was important for the organizers to offer highly varied and free cultural programmes to hundred thousands of underprivileged children and their family, who otherwise don’t have this opportunity.

The Indian Embassy also participates this year in the programme. You can find the Indian tent on the Boulevard of Nations on Sunday, 27th May 2018 from 10.00 to 16.00. At the programme, several embassies and cultural institutes are going to introduce the traditions, cultural and gastronomical specialities and customs of their country. At the stage of the embassies, also, there are going to be Indian performers as well; Ms Saumya Shukla’s students are going to dance and also Pt. Rajesh Gangani and his students are going to perform.

Children are awaited not just with Children are awaited not just with dance, yoga, music, face painting and painting workshop, but also they can play board games, colour drawings and paint in the India tent, and also their hands can be decorated with henna. Like last year, we also have quiz game, and also there will be a drawing competition, where the best artworks will be rewarded.
