Navaratri Celebrations at Amrita Sher-Gil Cultural Center, Embassy of India, Budapest

Navaratri is one of the most popular festivals of India. It symbolises the triumph of good over evil. Navratri takes place in the month of October around harvest time and, as the name implies, this festival is celebrated mostly for nine days. Navratri is also known as Durga Puja.

Amrita Sher-Gil Cultural Centre is going to celebrate Navaratri with cultural programmes like Garba dance, henna application, Indian food stalls. All are most welcome to join the programme.
