Brothers Lakshay Mohan & Aayush Mohan who play the Sitar and Sarod respectively, are popular for their duet recitals. Mohan Brothers are known for being able to connect to all kinds of listeners while preserving and incorporating traditional repertoire and techniques in their playing. As mentioned by them, they have appeared on popular television shows like 'Good Day New York' on FOX TV, USA and have given several TEDx Talks to spread cultural awareness amongst youth. They have been performing globally since 2009. Lakshay & Aayush have studied from Pt. Uma Shankar Mishra and Padmabhushan Sharan Rani respectively. Their album 'Hidden Harmony' was nominated for the Best Classical Instrumental album at the Global Indian Music Academy Awards in 2016.
