5th World Coffee Conference in Bengaluru 25-28 Sept 2023

The Internatioal Coffee Organization (ICO) set up in London in 1963 has organized 4 high-level World Coffee Conferences in the past: England (2001), Brazil (2005), Guatemala (2010) and Ethiopia (2016). Now, for the 5th Edition of the World Coffee Conference, India shall be the host country. India is the seventh largest producer of coffee in the world accounting for nearly 4% of the global coffee production and the fifth largest exporter with 5% share in global coffee exports.

Coffee Board, a statutory organization functioning under the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India has been entrusted with the responsibility of making arrangements for hosting the 5th World Coffee Conference.

The event will be held in the Bangalore Palace Grounds, Bengaluru from 25-28 Sept 2023. Around 1500 registered delegates and 10,000 business visitors from across the globe are expected to participate in the event.

The theme of the conferece would be "Sustainability through Circular Economy and Regenerative Agriculture". As part of the international expo the following events are planned:
-Technical sessions
-Buyer-Seller meet
-Coffee Technology Fair
-CEO Conclave
-Study Tours
-Visits to important places of tourism
