Ministry of Civil Aviation together with the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) is organizing its flagship event Wings India, 2020 from 12-15 March 2020 at Hyderabad. The objective of the event is to bring stakeholders from both developed and emerging economies to deliberate and discuss the opportunities and challenges in the Civil Aviation Sector in India.
The earlier event held in 2018 at Hyderabad received overwhelming response, witnessed more than 125 exhibitors, 50 top global aviation companies in the CEO forum, 285 G2B meetings and representation from 10 countries with display aircraft in static display.
The current edition of WINGS India will include an International Exhibition, Panel discussions, Roundtables. Global CEO Forum and B2B meetings. A ministerial plenary session on the theme ‘Connecting the World ‘ will also be organised. The event aims to be a comprehensive platform for the civil aviation sector with strong participation from the global aviation ecosystem comprising global leaders from airlines, manufacturers, investors, vendors, cargo, space industry, banking institutions, skill development agencies and States and UTs of India.
The event has special focus on connecting Tier 2 and 3 cities, aimed at increasing regional connectivity in the country.
